Baby Sharon in her Parachute Gown

Sharon’s christening gown that Grandma Davies made out of fabric from a parachute that Uncle Mike brought back from his deployment during the Korean War.

It had 2 three dimensional roses made from the same fabric on the upper bodice, one on each side.

I think that was Grandma’s signature, given that her middle name was Rose.

Sharon’s Maternal Grandfather Ernest. Never met. Died when Mom was 6 yrs old.
